EEC is a small firm which provides flexible, responsive, and personalized research and consulting services to a range of clients, including Commonwealth and State/Territory Government agencies, regional natural resource management organizations, research organizations, and other consulting firms.

EEC provides advice on a range of social issues in the environmental and natural resource management sectors and in the rural sector. EEC helps clients identify the needs of and build stakeholders’ and communities’ support for policy and program initiatives, in areas such as animal welfare, water reforms, climate variability risks, fisheries and aquaculture, and flood management.

EEC undertakes research reviews, program evaluations, and stakeholder and community consultations. EEC uses a range of tools, including social impact assessment, small and large scale social surveys, qualitative interviewing and analyses, and performance story reporting for program evaluations.

Dr. Nicole Mazur is Principal Consultant for EEC. Dr. Mazur is an experienced social scientist who has worked in the private and public sectors for over fifteen years who has a proven track record of meeting client’s needs in a timely fashion. Dr. Mazur has excellent research, project management, and client liaison skills, a solid understanding of the operational environment of policy clients, and can effectively communicate complex scientific concepts and issues to diverse audiences.
