Envision Corporate Profile

Dr. Nicole Mazur is a highly experienced social scientist with a passion for people and the environment in which they live.

She is dedicated to helping achieve sustainable natural resource and social policy solutions that take into account the complex needs and concerns of individuals and communities. Also interested in the human dynamics of other public policy areas, Nicole is highly regarded for her interpersonal skills and ability to create engagement spaces in which people feel comfortable about discussing the issues affecting them.

As the Principal Consultant for EEC, Nicole has developed a reputation for formulating responsive, flexible, tailored project management and social research services. She is equipped with excellent research, project management and client liaison skills, and possesses a detailed understanding of the challenging operational environment occupied by policy makers.

Over the past 15-years, Nicole has worked across a wide range of policy areas including stakeholder and community engagement, community and industry responses to natural resource policies and management, risk perceptions, capacity building, and social impact assessment. She is highly adept at communicating complex scientific concepts to a diverse audience, and can demonstrate substantive achievement in the areas of research publishing, program evaluation, policy development, as well as the provision of management, administrative and coordinative support.

In addition to running EEC, Nicole is also an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Institute for Land, Water and Society, Charles Sturt University (Albury, NSW).
